IN MEMORY OF IGNACY MIEDZIŃSKI

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of a Forterro operating company founder, Ignacy Miedziński. I first met Ignacy Miedziński a decade ago, many years before we began the process of acquiring BPSC. During that time, Ignacy and I developed a mutual respect for one another, and a professional bond that I will always treasure. Ignacy had great character and spirit, and it was my pleasure to know him and call him a friend.

I would like to express my deep respect for Ignacy as an entrepreneur, given the incredibly successful software business he and his co-founders were able to start in the especially difficult business environment in Poland prior to 1989, as well as handle multiple transitions in the economy over the last 30 years. Ignacy was a true pioneer in our industry, and a hero to those he employed and those he served as customers. I hope to honor his legacy by ensuring the continued momentum of the business he started.
