SYLOB ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF SYLOB 9 VERSION 5

CAMBON D’ALBI, FRANCE, December 2017 - Sylob, a leading supplier of ERP software for small to midmarket manufacturers of industrial products in France, today announced the release of Version 5 of Sylob 9. This version is rich in new features, particularly at the level of activities located upstream of the supply chain (e.g., management of the customer supply plan, PIC,  PDP). In addition, the new release promises improved application response; the continued evolution of the solution's ergonomics; and enhanced system settings.

Many of the version's enhancements will be posted to Version 5 of Sylob 5 in early 2018. One of these is the new LDAP Active Directory feature. This new feature synchronizes users of your Sylob ERP system to an LDAP directory. This will allow you, for example, to use the password between your Windows session and your ERP. You will be able to update the user's information and / or the employee, create new users / employees to from the directory, and delete (in the deactivate direction) a user as soon as it is deleted in the directory.

In fact, this will translate into functional needs following:

• Delegate authentication to the LDAP directory
• Manage connection settings to the LDAP directory
• Correctly trace directory connection failures (management of different - error returns)
• Synchronize accounts from the directory
• Set up an account recovery filter
• Schedule account synchronization
