Forterro nominated for three 2024 HR Excellence Awards

We are thrilled to announce that Forterro has been nominated for three prestigious 2024 HR Excellence Awards, in the following categories:
- Best Transformation Strategy
- Best Internal Communications Strategy
- HR Director of the Year for Lewis Hudson, Vice President People Operations
The HR Excellence Awards celebrate innovation and achievement in the UK’s HR profession, recognising the individuals and organisations setting new standards and driving positive change.
For the second consecutive year, Forterro has been nominated in the category for Best Transformation Strategy, demonstrating how HR can be the accelerant function leading, executing and realising the targeted transformation outcomes through the people strategy.
“Building on our past progress, the People Experience team at Forterro has continued to transform our infrastructure and processes to drive better employee experiences and business outcomes,” said Sharon Looney, Chief People Officer, Forterro. “The influence of our people strategy in mobilising organisational transformation is something my team can be very proud of, and I am thrilled they are receiving this recognition.”
Forterro is also nominated for Best Internal Communications Strategy and Lewis Hudson, Vice President of Global People Operations, receives recognition through his nomination for HR Director of the Year.
“Lewis joined the company in 2022 and has made a significant contribution in driving our unification strategies forward,” said Sharon. “His experience, leadership and mentoring has been invaluable. Congratulations, Lewis, on this well-deserved recognition!”
The awards ceremony takes place at The Brewery in London on the evening of 3 December.
