Strength & acceleration

Leveraging consistent company growth to invest in industrial software solutions.

FORTERRO frontpage

Forward, together with our communities

Over the past decade, Forterro® has grown from a provider of on-premise ERP solutions in the Nordics, to a multi-product pan-European software company focused on the needs of the industrial mid-market. We have leveraged that growth, scale and sector specialisation to become a category leader – with 13,000+ customers and counting.
Industry and software together

Powered by our people

We now employ more than 1,600 people across our 40 offices, regional service hubs and development centres around the world. These teams support our growing customer community, by providing an ever-expanding, diverse range of specialised local and vertical software products for the industrial market. And they are driving a consistent trajectory of revenue growth and strong financial performance – coupled with an impressive track record of execution, value creation and strong product roadmaps for digital transformation.

Powered by our investors

In early 2022, Forterro was acquired by Partners Group in a €1 billion deal. The investment accelerated what we call our 'Forterro 3.0' strategy – a journey to become a unified, subscription-based and cloud-ready software provider, with an even broader range of capabilities to serve the industrial market. Shortly after the transaction was complete, previous owner Battery Ventures retained a smaller yet significant reinvestment in Forterro – demonstrating our value and growth potential.

Partners Group

World-class components, better together

From day one, Forterro has delivered great software solutions serving the industrial mid-market. Each of our products, and the teams that have created and developed them, contribute to our position as a category leader. And those same people and solutions benefit from the power, strength and acceleration that Forterro can bring as an organisation. Our strategy is always to build on the capability, scale and heritage of the products that join our business – ensuring we have the right plan in place to serve and innovate for all customers, today, tomorrow and for the long-term future.

M&A investment experience

By joining Forterro, software providers can find new ways to grow. They can supercharge product roadmaps, and serve customers in new and expanded ways. Could we be the right choice for the next chapter of your business?

New ways to grow

As part of smaller businesses with one- or two-product portfolios, our solutions didn’t always have the financial or human resources to deliver on transformational growth plans. But at Forterro there is a wealth of know-how, infrastructure and capital that can be leveraged to improve operations, uncover new market opportunities and drive value creation – all while staying true to the values that made the software a market leader in the first place.

Research & development

Forterro’s product and market experts across Europe and around the world share a passion for the industrial mid-market. They work daily to evolve our software and services to solve similar problems for similar customers. And they’re evaluating the shared potential of opportunities presented by new technologies. As part of our organisation, you’d have access to that innovation – which can positively impact your roadmap and fast-track the features your customers have been asking about for years.

A partner for the future

Our goal is to make great software products even greater. As your potential partner, we are committed to appreciating and understanding your brand equity, listening to the experience and judgement of your teams, protecting the investments of your customers, and building on your established success. Forterro's strategy has never been, nor ever will be, a race to a single product. We deliver specialisation, championing each of our products in its local geogprahy or market vertical – today, tomorrow and beyond.
