
Forterro continues expansion into the fenestration industry with BM Group acquisition
The deal builds on the acquisition of Orgadata AG in 2024 to further grow the new Forterro Windows and Doors line of business.
We now employ more than 1,600 people across our 40 offices, regional service hubs and development centres around the world. These teams support our growing customer community, by providing an ever-expanding, diverse range of specialised local and vertical software products for the industrial market. And they are driving a consistent trajectory of revenue growth and strong financial performance – coupled with an impressive track record of execution, value creation and strong product roadmaps for digital transformation.
In early 2022, Forterro was acquired by Partners Group in a €1 billion deal. The investment accelerated what we call our 'Forterro 3.0' strategy – a journey to become a unified, subscription-based and cloud-ready software provider, with an even broader range of capabilities to serve the industrial market. Shortly after the transaction was complete, previous owner Battery Ventures retained a smaller yet significant reinvestment in Forterro – demonstrating our value and growth potential.
As part of smaller businesses with one- or two-product portfolios, our solutions didn’t always have the financial or human resources to deliver on transformational growth plans.
