David Coste

David Coste has served as the general manager for Forterro’s French-speaking product businesses in Southern Europe since 2019. As general manager, Coste is responsible for developing and executing the strategic, operational, and financial plans that drive the profitability and growth of each Forterro software product serving the Southern Europe markets. In his role, Coste oversees all local functional operations, including sales and marketing; product management; research and development; professional services; and customer support and education.

Coste brings extensive experience of the industrial ERP midmarket to Forterro, having worked previously in management positions at several international ERP vendors including Infor, Unit4 and IFS—as well as at local ERP vendors including Pyra, where he began his career in the ERP space as a sales representative. Throughout his career, Coste has worked with pure SaaS businesses like KDS, as well as on-premise businesses like Itesoft, where he was instrumental in driving the transition from an on-premise model to SaaS.

Since taking the position of regional general manager at Forterro, Coste has unified the culture and operations of several independent ERP product businesses throughout France and Switzerland. Through the successful implementation of group strategy, processes and methodologies, Coste and his leadership team have delivered double-digit organic growth each year.

Coste successfully graduated from one of the highest-ranking business schools in France, Grenoble Ecole de Management, specializing in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
