Polly boasts nearly two decades of legal expertise, spanning both private practice and inhouse working within some of the world’s leading software. In the role of Regional Divisional Counsel at Hexagon ab, she managed commercial matters across 11 countries – as well as being a subject matter expert for cloud computing and strategy, plus regional M&A deal lead. She was responsible for implementation of a global data protection programme for approximately 5,000 employees across 60 different countries and more than 80 different legal entities.
Commercially orientated, Polly adopts a highly pragmatic approach to organisational transformation, with key expertise in the areas of M&A, commercial contracts negotiation, consolidation and compliance. With deep strategic capabilities, she drives organisational transformation and harmonisation across the Forterro legal and compliance landscape. She leverages her diverse experience to drive operational excellence, generate high quality revenue and secure competitive advantage – while protecting the interests of all stakeholders.
Polly received her bachelor’s degree in international business studies with Spanish from the University of Northumbria. She subsequently completed a postgraduate diploma in law and a legal practice course at the University of Law, before going on to complete her training contract. She has also passed the exam to become a certified information privacy professional (CIPP/E).
